# Enable members to access their benefits (legacy customer accounts)

**Setup time is approximately 5 minutes**

This is the final launch step for stores using legacy customer accounts. It takes a little longer than the new customer accounts flow because you need to add both the Member Login component and the Access Membership Link component before testing the member experience.

Note: This applies if you are using legacy customer accounts which you can find in your store Settings as per the image below.

1. In the Shopify dashboard, on the left hand side menu, click on Themes.

2. On the right hand side, click on the Customize button next to your theme.

3. From the drop down list at the top, select Classic customer accounts.

4. Then select Customer login.

5. On the right hand side, click on Add section to template.

6. Click on Apps and then click on the Memberply Member Login component.

7. Customize the Memberply Member Login component to your needs.

8. Click on Save in the top right corner.

The following steps will add a direct link to the membership benefits area from the customer account page.

9. From the drop down list at the top, select Classic customer accounts.

10. Then select the Customer account page.

11. You should now see a login screen. Go ahead and enter an email address and password of an existing user. If you don't have the details of an existing user, go to the next step.

12. If you don't have the details of an existing user, click on the Create account link and then create an account.

13. Now click on Sign In.

14. After logging in as a user, you should see something similar to below.

15. In the left hand section just under Template, click on Add section.

16. Click on Apps and then click on the Memberply Access Membership Link component.

17. On the right hand side, customize the Memberply Access Membership Link component to your needs.

18. Click Save in the top right corner.
