# How to suggest new features

Open **Suggest Features** in your Memberply dashboard to share an idea, vote for improvements, or follow their progress. You stay signed in to Memberply.

## Share an idea

Search the existing suggestions first. If you find the same idea, select **Vote** to add your store's support. Otherwise, use the full-width **Suggest a feature** form above the ideas list. Enter a short title and explain the problem the feature would solve, then select **Submit suggestion**.

Your new suggestion is visible to your store while we review it. We may edit its public wording before listing it for other merchants. Please leave personal details, customer records and sensitive business information out of your suggestion.

## Vote and follow progress

Each Shopify store gets one vote per idea, shared by staff who use that store. Your own suggestion starts with your store's vote. Select **Voted** to remove it. If duplicate suggestions are merged, votes move to the combined request and each store is counted once.

Historical Canny vote totals, when imported, are shown separately because they may not identify a Shopify store. They are not added to verified store votes.

Requests can be **New**, **Researching**, **Planned**, **In progress**, **Released**, or **Not planned**. The overview cards show how many ideas are Researching, Planned, In progress or Released. Select a card to filter the ideas, and select it again to clear that filter. You can also search by title or description and use the status dropdown to see any status. The overview counts include all ideas available to your store, regardless of your search. A vote helps us understand demand; it does not guarantee a feature or a delivery date.

Selected updates also appear on the [public Memberply roadmap](https://www.memberply.com/roadmap). Suggestions and voting take place inside your dashboard. Private submissions, store identities and internal review notes are not shown on the public roadmap.
