Enable members to access their benefits (new customer accounts)
Setup time is approximately 3 minutes
Go through the following steps to display a passwordless login link to the member benefits area on your store's theme. This will allow your members to easily access their exclusive rewards and benefits with just their email address, and without having to enter in a password.
The first set of steps will create a page template with the Memberply login component in it. Then the next set of steps will create a page to use that page template. Finally, the last set of steps will add a link to the main menu for members to access this new page.
Note: This applies if you are using new customer accounts which you can find in your store Settings as per the image below.
In the Shopify dashboard, on the left hand side menu, click on Themes.
On the right hand side, click on the Customize button next to your theme.
From the drop down list at the top, select Pages.
Then click on Create template.
For the Name field, enter member access. For the Based on field, select Default page. Then click on the Create template button.
In the right hand section, click on Add section.
Click on Apps and then click on the Memberply Member Login component.
On the right hand side, customize the Memberply Member Login component to your needs.
Click Save in the top right corner.
In the Shopify dashboard, on the left hand side menu, click on Online Store and then Pages.
On the top right, click on the Add page button.
In the Title field, enter Member Access. Then on the bottom right under Theme template, select member-access (which was created in Step 5).
Click on Save.
In the Shopify dashboard, on the left hand side menu, click on Navigation.
Click on Main menu.
Click on Add menu item.
In the right hand section, in the Name field enter Member Access. Then click on the Search or paste a link text box, select Pages and then click on Member Access.
Click on Add in the bottom right corner.
