# Change the colors of the member benefits area (legacy customer accounts)

NOTE: You will only see this option in the menu if you are using legacy customer accounts as per the image below:

If you are using legacy customer accounts, Memberply creates a separate member portal that can be accessed from the customer's Shopify account. This member portal enables members to access their benefits. The following steps will add your logo and change the colors of the members area to match your store's branding.

It wasn't possible to have it all under the one member portal. However, with the new Customer accounts Shopify allows us to customize the members area within Shopify. As a result, if you are using the new Customer accounts everything is under the one member portal area.

1. From the main menu, click on Member Portal.

2. Click on Choose file to upload an image of your logo. This will be displayed in the members portal.

3. Set the menu background color.

4. Set the menu text color.

5. Set the menu selected color.

6. Click Save.
